1. You Proof by Morgan Wallen

Wallen notched his fifth single to debut atop Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with the release of “You Proof” during his birthday. 2. The Kind of Love We Make by Luke Combs

Combs infuses some country-soul swagger into our list with the immediate standout track from his newest album, Growin’ Up. “The Kind of Love We Make” is coupled with an equally fiery music video that follows an elderly couple who’s madly in love with each other despite the many years that have passed by.

3. She Had Me At Heads Carolina by Cole Swindell

There’s nothing more nostalgic than Swindell’s latest single from his album Stereotype, which he wrote in a throwback mood. The song actually incorporates Jo Dee Messina’s 1996 country hit “Heads Carolina, Tails California” that will make you pine for the past.

4. Wasted On You by Morgan Wallen

Wallen never fails to sweep us off our feet – or sometimes, break our hearts. “Wasted on You.” a heartbreak ballad with double entendre finds Wallen aching over an old lover. He regrets all the time and money he wasted on his relationship, only to end up falling apart. Now, he’s trying to knock himself with bourbon to numb his emotional discomfort.

5. 5 Foot 9 by Tyler Hubbard

We finally now got the first taste of Hubbard’s debut solo project – and he made sure it’s going to be relatable. This sweet song is about Hubbard’s love for his wife, Hayley, who he fully describes in the lyrics.

6. Rock And A Hard Place by Bailey Zimmerman

Fast-rising country newcomer bares what he got in this emotional and all-too-relatable song about a relationship that started out strong but eventually turned out terribly damaged. What’s even more interesting is that Zimmerman wrote “Rock And A Hard Place” after a personal experience.

7. Where It Ends by Bailey Zimmerman

Zimmerman has dropped another breakup anthem, and it’s taking country music by storm. The country-rock song finds Zimmerman unwavering and tenacious in his decision to pull himself out of a gripping heartbreak. It’s definitely something we’re all familiar with.

8. Last Night Lonely by Jon Pardi

Pardi’s brand-new song may have a different story and a different sound, but it definitely has the same values. Plus, it comes with a fiddle solo – so what more could we ask for?

9. Like I Love Country Music by Kane Brown

Brown paid tribute to his favorite musical genre with his recently released single. He even name-checked songs by legendary country artists such as George Jones, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, as well as Johnny Cash and June Carter.

10. Fall In Love by Bailey Zimmerman

The moment this churning hit reached No. 6 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, we instantly knew that Zimmerman was the next big thing in country music. The heartbreaking ballad allowed him to show off how he’s willing to dive into his personal life, love, and loss to create one magical piece.

11. Son Of A Sinner by Jelly Roll

13.Wishful Drinking by Ingrid Andress with Sam Hunt

The team-up of Andress and Hunt is the collaboration we didn’t know we needed – we can’t help but get excited. Andress feels the same way as she described the feeling of singing with Hunt as “confetti.”
