The fast-rising country newcomer has another hit on his hands! Bailey Zimmerman recently dropped the heartfelt country song, “Rock and A Hard Place,” at the request of his fervent, swiftly growing following on social media.

The song debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs upon its release – making it this year’s second highest debuting song on the said chart. Billboard even reported that it ranks the highest non-Morgan Wallen country song premiere of the year. Since it is not a radio single, this peak was entirely achieved through the streaming of the song.

The Song Will Take You To The Hardships Of A Relationship

Written by Bailey Zimmerman with Heath Warren, Jacob Hackworth, and Jet Harvey, “Rock and A Hard Place” takes listeners through the excruciating, grueling details of a relationship – with the most painful lines – as he reflects on whether he would try to fix a terribly broken relationship or cut his losses and hope for a brand-new start.

The song comes with the same emotive and all-too-relatable music video that will make your heart race. It follows a couple who’s on the verge of breaking up. Zimmerman portrayed the fictional protagonist that’s still in love with his wife, but sadly, her heart has moved on to another man.
