Last night I had a crazy dream
A wish was granted just for me
It could be for anything
I didn’t ask for money
Or a mansion in Malibu
I simply wished, for one more day with you

The words put in the song “One More Day” are not typical words usually heard over country radios. Thus, what makes it different from the others is that this song defines a narrator’s dream towards its future life. When we talk about dreams, it includes having expensive things or attaining a great profession. But in this song, the narrator does not wish for any expensive gifts like having a mansion. Rather, he wishes for one more day with his lover.

Sometimes, beyond the power and money we have, we still lack something in our self. Do you have any idea what are those missing parts? Well, love may be considered as one of the answers. Why? It is simply because finding a lifetime partner is much better than being alone having a luxurious life.
