From American Idol to bottles and baby monitors: Scotty McCreery’s goin’ two-for-two on the dad scoreboard.

Scotty and Gabi McCreery are expecting baby number two, and the internet is melting faster than a popsicle on the Fourth of July. They dropped the news with a family photo shoot so clean it looked like it came with a Hallmark contract, but thankfully, they threw in just enough chaos to keep it country. Their toddler, Avery, stole the spotlight in a navy sweater that screamed “Big Brother” like he was already headin’ up his own tour bus crew.

That kid was made for a reveal moment. One photo has him proudly pointing at the words on his chest. Another one’s got him suckin’ on a sucker like he negotiated his rate before showtime. It looked like he knew exactly what he was doing. That lollipop wasn’t a prop. It was payment.

Scotty kept the caption short and sweet. “A new best friend coming this fall 💙💙.” That’s two blue hearts, which might be a gender hint or maybe just a nod to how blue Avery’s sweater was. Either way, country fans flooded the comments like someone cracked open a six-pack at the baby shower. Even Lauren Alaina jumped in with a congrats. If you remember, she’s the one who came in second back when Scotty won Idol, and now here they are, full circle, swappin’ baby blessings on the gram.

When they were expecting their first, Scotty turned the whole thing into a music video for “It Matters to Her.” Ultrasounds, baby toys, nursery paint, the whole shebang. Winnie the Pooh theme and all. But Gabi is the real MVP of that video and, honestly, the McCreery household. That woman’s a full-time nurse, toddler wrangler, and now rounding third base with baby number two. Scotty might be the one on stage, but she’s clearly the one running the show.

They’ve been married since 2018, and they keep it real. No fake country fairytales, no staged reality show drama. Just two people, a dog named Moose, and a growing team of tiny humans taking over their house. And poor Moose, he was barely adjusting to Avery, and now he’s about to get side-eyed by a second little tornado in training.

Scotty’s got a new record comin’, shows booked, and now a fall due date thrown into the chaos. The man’s building more than a discography. He’s startin’ a family band, one sippy cup at a time.

We don’t know if it’s a boy or girl yet, but whatever it is, it’s already famous on Instagram, probably got a better closet than most of us, and will definitely be raised on southern lullabies and tailgate snacks.

The McCreery house is about to get louder, messier, and somehow even sweeter.

And if Avery’s Big Brother energy is any clue, this kid’s gonna be raised country right.
