Offsprings will most likely inherit the genes of their parents – their talents, weird capabilities, or physical features. Let’s take a look at the case of Reba McEntire and her son Shelby. The only birth son of Reba McEntire turns out to be a fine young man. Shelby is now 28 years old and he has a big and promising career. Moreover, he got almost all of his looks from his mother. It’s like we’re looking at the male version of Reba when we stare at Shelby.

Reba McEntire and her Family

We all know that Reba McEntire has nice features and she remains gorgeous at the age of 64. Anyhow, in 1989, McEntire married her manager and former steel guitar player Narvel Blackstock. Their relationship was a roller coaster at that time. It has gone through a lot of ups and downs. However, they were blessed with a handsome son they named Shelby. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was showered with love by his parents.  Moreover, McEntire loves all her ex-husbands’ children and treated them like her own. She equally supports them in all of their endeavors.

Shelby is now twenty-eight years old and instead of following Reba McEntire in showbiz, he chose a different track. This young man is now a professional race car driver. No one would imagine that the former young cowboy with a sweet smile will turn into a daredevil.

Shelby is All Grown Up Now

Shelby turned out to be one of the most sought after bachelors in town. In addition, he also has a promising career being one of the best professional race car drivers. Further, he debuted in Mustang Challenge Miller Cup and also competed in other high profile races. In spite of this, Reba McEntire is always nervous whenever she watches her son riding those fast cars.  Let’s all hope that Shelby will be able to reach his ultimate dream.
