Duets are surely double the musical fun – and it’s pretty evident in the Top 40 country songs for July 2021. Most of the tracks that got in this month’s list are actually collaborations from some of the biggest names in the industry. This includes the unlikely pairing of Keith Urban and pop star P!nk, as well as the empowering team-up of Elle King and Miranda Lambert.

But still on top of the list is a solo effort by none other than Luke Combs, who never left the highest spot for two consecutive months. Behind him are his fellow performers during last month’s 2021 CMT Music Awards: Chris Young and Kane Brown.

Keep on scrolling below to find out this month’s hottest country songs.

1. “Forever After All” by Luke Combs

The romantically charged single has helped Combs make another record for the chart. When “Forever After All” sat atop the Billboard Country Airplay, it marked the 11th time in a row Combs had hit No. 1.

But most importantly, the emotional anthem has made itself appealing to fans.

2. “Famous Friends” by Chris Young and Kane Brown

The longtime friends teamed up for the buddy country anthem “Famous Friends,” which music video won the 2021 Collaborative Video of the Year at CMT Music Awards.

The upbeat collaboration is the title track of Young’s upcoming album.

3. “Lil Bit” by Nelly & Florida Georgia Line

Nelly and Florida Georgia Line paired up for “Lil Bit,” an unlikely country-meet-hip-hop crossover. The talented singers first debuted the hit song in October 2020 – seven years after they first teamed up for 2013’s chart-topping “Cruise” remix.

4. “Gone” by Dierks Bentley

Bentley tunes out of life after a rough breakup, leaving his boss, friends, and family in the new song “Gone.” It’s the first new music from the country singer after three years.

5. “Blame It On You” by Jason Aldean

The hitmaker is looking for a reason in his new single, “Blame It On You.” The powerful breakup ballad features Aldean’s signature spoken-word style as he reflects on the ending of a relationship.

6. “Settling Down” by Miranda Lambert

Lambert’s thoughtful “Settling Down” is the most recent single off her Wildcard album. It comes with a personal music video filmed in her ranch in Tennessee and features her husband of two years, Brendan McLoughlin.

7. “Almost Maybes” by Jordan Davis

The breezy, reminiscent uptempo track finds Davis looking back at all those good, bad, and indifferent romances that sadly failed but eventually will lead you to the one you’re supposed to be with.

8. “Glad You Exist” by Dan + Shay

With all that has been happening right now, Dan + Shay focused on the positive side in their new single as they celebrate the simple power of companionship.

9. “Single Saturday Night” by Cole Swindell

The simple and sweet song finds Swindell in a life-changing Saturday drinking session with some friends – little did he know that this would lead him to the love of his life.

10. “Fancy Like” by Walker Hayes

Over the past couple of weeks, Hayes’ silly lyrics about Applebee’s, Bourbon Street steak, and Oreo shake in “Fancy Like” have blazed up several charts – thanks to a viral TikTok video of Hayes and his daughter Lela dancing on a porch.

11. “Things A Man Oughta Know” by Lainey Wilson

Wilson lists a few things that she believes a man should be knowledgeable about in “Things A Man Oughta Know” – but the most important ones are not letting go of the woman you love and treating someone right.

12. “One Too Many” by Keith Urban and P!nk

“One Too Many” was released as the third single from Urban’s new album, The Speed of Now Part 1, and is just one of the many collaborations on the project.

13. “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” by Chase Rice featuring Florida Georgia Line

After nearly a decade, Chase Rice reunited with Florida Georgia Line since they co-wrote the latter’s country music hit “Cruise.”

14. “Made For You” by Jake Owen

The chart-topping single is part of Owen’s critically acclaimed album Greetings From… Jake, which takes him back to his traditional country influences.

15. “Minimum Wage” by Blake Shelton

Despite the song sparking some controversy – with music critics calling it insensitive and tone-deaf – Shelton maintained pride about its “great message,” saying that he has even related to “Minimum Wage” lyrics so much.
