Taylor Sheridan’s neo-western drama, Yellowstone, became 2021’s most-watched cable TV series. The show’s numbers soared even higher during early 2022. with their season 4 finale reaching a record-breaking viewership of 9.34 million. With the highly anticipated season 5 just released, many old and new fans of the series wonder where they can watch Yellowstone these days.

Four seasons of the popular Paramount Network series are out, and the first part of season 5 recently aired this November and ended on January 1, 2023. The second part of season 5, which consists of six episodes, is scheduled to air in the summer of 2023, kicking off with episode 9. 

For those new to Yellowstone, the series follows the story of the Dutton family and their fight to preserve their beloved ranch in Montana against greedy investors, developers, and the inevitable consequences of progress. 

Where to Watch Season 5 of Yellowstone?

Yellowstone fans can watch season 5 episodes for free by getting a 24-hour pass to watch the Paramount Network live. You can also watch its episodes on-demand through the Paramount Network website and app. 

For those who don’t have cable, you can watch the series on live TV or get Paramount Network through on-demand streaming services like Philo. It costs $25 a month to get Philo, but they offer a free 7-day trial if you want to test their services before committing to a monthly subscription.

There is also an option to purchase season 5 of Yellowstone through Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, or iTunes. Other notable service providers that can give fans access to Paramount Network live and on-demand would be YouTube TV, Sling TV, Direct TV, and Hulu+Live TV. 

Judging by what happened with the previous seasons, Yellowstone fans will be able to stream season 5 on Peacock shortly after all its episodes have finished airing. Based on season 4, all the episodes became available on March 28, 2022, almost three months after the season finished airing on January 2, 2022. 

When and Where to Watch Part 2 of Yellowstone Season 5?

Season 5 Episode 9 will be available on Paramount+ in Summer 2023 in the UK and Canada. The Paramount+ app is available for most Smart TVs and streaming devices. Meanwhile, Australian fans can watch the show in the Summer of 2023 on Stan. 

Where to Watch Seasons 1-4 of Yellowstone?

You have several options if you want to start watching or rewatching Yellowstone seasons 1-4 before going into season 5. You can watch the episodes of all four seasons on DirectTV or Peacock. You also have the option to stream them on Apple TV, Vudu, and Amazon. 

For those that live in Canada, the first four seasons are available on Prime Video. If you live in the UK, you can watch them all on Paramount+. 

For those in the US, you can stream the first season of Yellowstone without spending a dime on Peacock through its free membership tier. However, if you want to continue watching seasons 2-4, you’ll need to cough up some cash and subscribe to their paid services. 

Peacock’s premium plans start at $4.99 a month. You’ll gain access to their entire library of TV series and movies, but you’ll have to sit through ads before accessing any of their content. If you want an ad-free experience, you’ll need to get Premium Plush which costs about $9.99 a month. 

That said, it’s well worth considering a premium plan because Peacock also has other worthwhile TV shows in their library. The Office, Downtown Abbey, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Suits are good examples. Peacock is only available in the United States, but you can access it via Sky if you live in Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. 

I’m Broke. Where Can I Watch Yellowstone For Free?

If you don’t want to spend money and wonder where to watch Yellowstone for free, then we still got you covered. All four Yellowstone seasons are available for free through Peacock’s 7-day trial. However, you only have seven days to finish them. It’s an excellent option for those with the time and endurance to binge-watch the episodes during the trial period. 

Another way is to check out Pluto TV. It’s a free cable replacement service where Paramount Global made the show’s first three seasons available for free in March 2022 on Pluto’s More TV Drama channel. While the show only appeared in Pluto for a limited time, there was an announcement saying that Yellowstone would be back on the platform. 

You can download the Pluto TV app for free on Android and iOS. It offers over 250 channels, and while it’s currently only available in the US, Brazil, Latin America, and some parts of Europe, it’s rapidly expanding its reach. 

Does Amazon Prime Offer Yellowstone for Free?

All four seasons of Yellowstone are free on Amazon Prime if you are in Canada. If you are in the UK, you can watch the first two seasons for free only. As for the rest of the world, sadly, you’ll need to pay to download and watch the series. 

Can I Watch Yellowstone on Netflix? 

Yellowstone isn’t available on Netflix. There is also no news if the streaming giant will make the series available for its subscribers. The show is also unavailable on Hulu and HBO Max. 

Why Isn’t Yellowstone Available on Paramount+? 

The show isn’t available on Paramount Plus unless you live in the United Kingdom or Canada. That’s because NBCUniversal, the owners of Peacock, purchased Yellowstone’s streaming rights in 2020.  

However, fans can watch the prequel series for Yellowstone, 1883, on Paramount+. There are also official announcements that other show spinoffs will be released exclusively on the platform. 

Yellowstone is a beautiful show. You shouldn’t miss watching it, especially if you are a fan of western films and shows. Hopefully, we were able to give you some good ideas on where to watch Yellowstone. All you have to do is pick one, depending on where you live, your needs, and your budget.
