Kelly Clarkson became famous after winning the inaugural season of American Idol in 2002. As a result, she was able to garner a large number of listeners to kick-start her excellent music career. Perhaps this is why she decided to create a nightly segment called “A Minute and a Glass of Wine” as a present to her fans.

On one episode of her concert-style casual talk show, held in Nashville, she invited Reba Mcentire, one of the most renowned and legendary country singers of all time to be her guest as a surprise to her fans.

Reba has been Kelly Clarkson‘s inspiration and hero over the years, according to her. And, in comparison to others, Kelly was happy for the opportunity to meet her hero in person, who was also able to live up to her expectations.

Kelly, like the rest of the Nashville audience, was ecstatic to hear Reba Mcentire’s incredible voice. That’s why, when she began singing, the audience erupted. She began singing one of Kelly Clarkson’s best singles; care to guess? Yes, it’s none other than “Because of You.”

The mini-concert was then continued by Kelly and Reba singing some of Reba Mcentire’s hit songs, such as “Can’t Even Get the Blues,” “Fancy,” “Is There Life Out There,” and “Freedom.”

Even though Reba botched up some phrases for her song Fancy, the audience was still captivated by her voice, as well as Kelly Clarkson’s undoubtedly strong stage presence. Kelly complimented on her song Freedom, saying it was a beautiful blend of gospel and country.

If you want to see the video of the said performance for yourself. You may watch it down below.
