Bryan, who earns New Artist of the Year, leads the pack with his collaboration with Kacey Musgraves. Musgraves has also officially been crowned CMA Female Vocalist of the Year for the first time.

1. I Remember Everything by Zach Bryan, Featuring Kacey Musgraves

Zach Bryan’s duet with Kacey Musgraves launched at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release from Bryan’s self-titled LP. The nostalgic summer lost-love track finds Bryan and Musgraves reminiscing memories of a relationship from tragically different perspectives. Bryan’s signature painstakingly simple yet poetic lyricism is evident in the song “I Remember Everything”.

2. Fast Car by Luke Combs

Luke Combs’ version of “Fast Car” continues to soar high. When it won Song of The Year at the 2023 Country Music Association awards held last November 9, 2023, it made singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman the first Black songwriter to win the award. Combs also took home Single of The Year award for the song.

3. Last Night by Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen tells the story of relationship challenges in “Last Night,” sharing his conversation with his partner after drinking the night before. Even with problems, he wants her love and works hard to keep their relationship strong.

4. Thinkin’ Bout Me by Morgan Wallen

Here’s another song from Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time album – which boasts 36 tracks and, amazingly, with over half of it making it to the Billboard Hot 100. 

Meanwhile, “Thinkin’ Bout Me” quickly resonates with many listeners due to its catchy melody and relatable lyrics. It narrates Wallen’s ex dating someone new. However, Wallen believes he’s still holding feelings for him.

5. Need a Favor by Jelly Roll

Nashville-native country singer and songwriter Jelly Roll has gained considerable popularity in today’s music scene. His acoustic-driven song “Need a Favor,” featured on his award-winning 2023 album “Whitsitt Chapel,”  has contributed to his rising success.

The song finds Jelly Roll looking out to a higher power during a difficult time in his life.  

6. Save Me by Jelly Roll with Lainey Wilson

Here’s another song by Jelly Roll, this time featuring Lainey Wilson. 

The song comes with a familiar theme within Jelly Roll’s catalog: he pleads for someone to save him as he believes he’s already a lost cause. Wilson joined in to give some hope. 

7. Religiously by Bailey Zimmerman 

Here’s Bailey Zimmerman’s “Religiously,” where he explores the darker aspects of love. The country singer passionately expresses deep emotions, grieving over the mistakes that caused the heartbreaking loss of the one person who had unwavering faith in him.

8. White Horse by Chris Stapleton

Here, we have another standout track from Chris Stapleton’s impressive catalog. 

In the song, Stapleton warns his girl that he still can’t give her the picture-perfect love story she wants as he needs some time to unlock his heart. 

9. Wild Ones by Jessie Murph & Jelly Roll

Jelly Roll collaborated with Jessie Murph for “Wild Ones,” which fans in both camps welcomed with wide arms open. The song quickly entered Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, peaking at No. 8. 

10. Try That In A Small Town by Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean’s song, which became the subject of widespread controversy following its release, still ranks atop. “Try That In A Small Town” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and Billboard Hot 100. 

11. Pretty Little Poison by Warren Zeiders

Now, we have the title track from Warren Zeiders’ debut album. This powerful ballad explores a toxic relationship that Zeiders is involved in despite its dangers. 

The song vividly portrays a woman with a mesmerizing yet dangerous appeal, likened to a potent poison. Despite knowing he should stay away, Zeiders finds himself irresistibly drawn to her.

12. Watermelon Moonshine by Lainey Wilson

Lainey Wilson’s song “Watermelon Moonshine” has resonated with country music fans, giving them smiles and nostalgia about past loves. Similar to the drink it’s named after, the song creates a heartwarming feeling, making listeners reminisce about their younger years and feel good.

13. Everything I Love by Morgan Wallen
