Are you a believer of guardian angels? Maybe there was a moment in your life when you thought that “Oh, somebody must have looked out for me.”

Well, that is what Martina McBride wants you to believe. Angels do exist, and they are always right by our side. We may not see them, but they are there to look out for us.

Behind Martina McBride’s Song “Wild Angels”

If you listen to the song, you’ll already know that it has that 90’s flare. The official music video is in black and white, which looks more captivating. It was also shot in a city where the singer, Martina McBride, was singing on top of a building.

I guess that since the song is about “Wild Angels,” they decided to shoot it on top of the Clock Tower Building in Brooklyn, New York. It’s not like what you would envision from the title, so they had to throw in the angel statue to relate it to the song. However, what could the song be all about?

Though you may not easily get the message through the music video, you may get a hint from the lyrics. The song is actually about two lovers whose love keeps on burning because someone is watching over them. Let us dig deeper with the lyrics to know more about the song.

Lyrics Breakdown

Keeping love alive in these troubled times
It’s a miracle in itself
And we know too well what that’s about
Still we made it through, only God knows how

Keeping a relationship in a world where chaos runs deep is a challenge. We see couples separating left and right for various reasons. The problems may stem from financial struggles, personal differences, or just out of pure boredom.

With all the wrong things that exist in the world, it is a wonder how someone can be with their lover for a very long time. I guess this is what the song wants to speak about. There might actually be an angel looking out for us and it is wild because they can keep up with all the crazy things that we do.
