Lisa Marie Presley’s children definitely know what it is like to be part of a famous family. After all, they have the King of Rock’ n’ Roll, Elvis Presley, and actress Priscilla Presley as their grandparents. But despite their family’s social status, Lisa Marie described her family as “just a normal family.”

The mother has always emphasized her tight-knit bond with her children too. “We all kind of hold each other up; we are all each other’s best friends. I’m theirs, but I am also their mother,” she said. Lisa Marie also revealed that “none of us are happy if we haven’t seen each other past a week or two.”

Without a doubt, the family is totally brokenhearted with the tragic passing of Benjamin Keough, Lisa Marie’s only son. The singer is even reported to be “completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated,” but she is “trying to stay strong” for her other children.

Anyway, let’s get to know more about Presley’s kids below.

Danielle Riley Keough

Riley is the eldest daughter of singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley and the eldest grandchild of rock legend Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley. Her father, Danny Keough, was a bass player in Lisa Marie’s band, but they divorced when Riley was only six. So she grew up splitting her time between Danny and Lisa Marie, traveling back and forth between California Valley and Hawaii.

“I grew up very privileged with my mother,” she said. “But my dad didn’t live like that. And I think experiencing both sides has been helpful. My father had mattresses on the floor of his apartments. He lived in cabins and trailer parks. He just didn’t have much money.”

But despite that, Riley’s memories of growing up with her father “were so colorful and eccentric and fun. It was a good vibe, you know? When I was like eight, I told him, ‘I want to grow up and be poor like you!’ He was eating a bowl of cereal. I didn’t realize how wildly offensive that was!”

For a while, she went to a regular school in the Valley, but she never liked it. Apparently, an artistic career was the natural choice for her. But the problem is, music wasn’t her thing. “I played piano, but I’m not particularly gifted. Movies felt endless to me, whereas music I could see myself getting bored of,” she said.

So she took to writing and directing films at home. She had her friends as the casts for her homemade film. “I was pretty hardcore. I made my friends cry because I wanted the tears to be authentic. But it was mostly horror. Once I discovered that ketchup could be blood, things went downhill from there,” she recalled.

But her ambitions took a turn in her tweens as Riley’s attentions turned to acting. She debuted in the film The Runaways in 2010 alongside Kristen Stewart, playing the role of Marie Currie. She appeared in several films shortly afterward, including comedy Magic Mike and the big-budget action film, Mad Max: Fury Road.

In 2016, Riley had her breakthrough role in the first season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, where she earned rave reviews and a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Her recent appearance was in the psychological horror film The Lodge, followed by another leading role in the upcoming comedy-drama Zola.

Today, Riley is married to Australian stuntman Ben Smith Peterson. The couple met on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road. Before tying the knot, she dated her Magic Mike co-star Alex Pettyfer. She was also linked to Robert Pattinson and had relationships with singer Ryan Cabrera and actor Jonah Hill.

In the meantime, Riley is living a simple life in Los Angeles.

Finely Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood

In 2006, Lisa Marie married for a fourth time to Michael Lockwood, her guitarist, music producer, and director. Two years after, Lisa Marie gave birth to twins, Finely Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood.

Now, the twins will soon be turning 12, and they are just starting to comprehend their late grandfather’s legacy. The twins do have a sweet reaction every time they hear their grandfather’s music playing in public. “If they hear a [Elvis] song in a store, they’re very, um, demure about it,” the twin’ grandmother, Priscilla, said. “They, you know, they will look at each other and look at us with little smiles. So they’re very respectful.”

In 2016, Lisa Marie Presley filed for divorce from Lockwood after ten years of marriage. Her representative said that the singer asked for full custody of their twins after citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split. However, in 2017, the twins were taken into protective custody after hundreds of images and videos of child pornography were found on Lockwood’s personal computer.

Benjamin Keough

Benjamin is the second child of Lisa Marie, with her first husband and the only grandson of Elvis Presley. Though Benjamin did not take many steps to follow in his mother and grandfather’s musical footsteps, Lisa Marie once said that Benjamin loves music and loves to be part of the industry. “He loves touring. It’s on his time frame. Always,” she said.

In 2009, it was rumored that Benjamin secured a five-album record deal with Universal, worth about $5 million. But it was later on denied by a representative of Universal.

Among Lisa Marie Presley’s kids, Benjamin was also the one with a strikingly familiar look with the King of Rock’ n’ Roll. “Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny. Sometimes I am overwhelmed when I look at him,” the proud mother revealed.

Sadly, Benjamin recently died by apparent suicide in Calabasas, California. The 27-year-old was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
