Some people talk about change, while others roll up their sleeves and actually make it happen. Jelly Roll is doing exactly that.

The tattooed troubadour of redemption is putting his money, his heart, and his land where his mouth is by building a 100-acre rehab and mental health center on his Tennessee property. Even more impressively, it will be completely free.

During a recent visit from his friends Big Mike, Mike Majlak, and Nick Nayersina, Jelly took them out riding four-wheelers through the woods to show off his sprawling land. As they crossed a creek that cuts through the property, he revealed his big idea. The 100 untouched acres on the other side are where he plans to create a safe haven for people struggling with addiction, mental health issues, and hopelessness.

Jelly does not want some polished or out-of-touch facility. He envisions a place built by people who have actually been through the trenches. The campus will offer a traditional 28-day, 12-step program along with intensive therapy and mental health resources. He also plans to bring in guest mentors, who will not just show up for speeches but will stay for a weekend and walk alongside those in recovery.

This is not just a dream he tossed around during a casual conversation. Jelly Roll is ready to fund and support the entire project himself. There will be no red tape or hidden fees, and no insurance hoops to jump through. This will simply be people helping people because he remembers what it feels like to be lost with nowhere to turn.

He shared, “I think about the resources that could have helped us back then. Now we can finally build them.”

Jelly Roll’s story is no secret. He has lived through addiction, prison, brokenness, and rock bottom. He turned his life around when his daughter came into the picture, and he began showing up not only for her but also for himself. His transformation over the last few years has been nothing short of inspiring. Now he is taking that energy and giving it back to those who need it most.

His longtime friend Mike Majlak understands this mission better than most. Majlak battled a long war with opioids and heroin, lost friends along the way, and eventually clawed his way out. Standing beside Jelly on that land, he immediately recognized the importance of what was unfolding. This was not just a great idea, it was something that could truly save lives.

Jelly Roll is not doing this for applause or headlines. He is doing this because he knows the pain of being left behind and forgotten, and he knows how much it means to have someone believe in you when you are at your lowest.

This rehab center is more than just a project. It is a promise. It is a promise to his past self, to every person who ever felt like giving up, and to anyone who just needs one more shot at getting it right. Jelly Roll is not just singing about second chances. He is out there building them, right in the heart of Tennessee.
