Brianna Chickenfry is shedding new light on the $12 million NDA she says ex Zach Bryan asked her to sign, while also taking fresh shots at his recent wedding.
During a February 17 appearance on the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul and Mike Majlak, the Barstool Sports personality detailed what she alleges were the terms of the massive nondisclosure agreement presented after their public breakup in October 2024. According to Brianna, whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia, the agreement would have gone far beyond simply staying quiet about their relationship.
“I wouldn’t have been able to do my job,” she said. “It was out of the question. It was so controlling.”
She alleged the $12 million NDA would have barred her from posting on social media, restricted what she could say publicly, and limited her to only making positive remarks about Zach Bryan. She also claimed the agreement would have lasted 5 years and required ongoing check-ins with his team until the payout was completed.
“I wouldn’t have been able to post anything. I wouldn’t have been able to say anything. I could only say positive remarks,” she said, adding that she believes she would have been under oversight for the duration of the contract.
One of the most surprising claims involved Barstool Sports itself. LaPaglia alleged that the NDA attempted to include not just her, but also Barstool founder Dave Portnoy and her former BFFs podcast co-host Josh Richards.
“He put in the NDA all of Barstool, all of Josh, and all of Dave,” she said. “I’m like, that’s literally impossible. What are you talking about?”
LaPaglia said signing the agreement would have kept her contractually tied to Bryan for five additional years, something she did not want.
“It wasn’t a noble thing,” she said. “It was more so for me. I wanted that chapter of my life to be done.”
Bryan has not publicly addressed the NDA allegations.
The conversation then shifted to Bryan’s December 31, 2025, wedding to Samantha Leonard in San Sebastián, Spain. LaPaglia repeated her belief that Bryan’s new relationship, and even aspects of the wedding, were intended as a “dig” at her.
“No one before me ever looked like me, let’s just be real,” she said, referencing online comparisons between herself and Leonard. “I don’t know if you know anything about narcissists, but this is what they do. It’s so apparent and obvious.”
When pressed on whether she believed the marriage itself was solely motivated by spite, LaPaglia clarified that she was not saying he got married just to get back at her. However, she maintained that she believes the relationship began as a way to “get at me.”
LaPaglia also criticized Bryan during the interview, calling him “a narcissist, a psych𝐨path and a very scary person,” and questioning his singing ability while acknowledging she once loved his songwriting. She claimed he frequently mocked her podcast career during their relationship.
The former couple’s split became headline news in fall 2024 after LaPaglia discussed alleged emotional manipulation and infidelity on her BFFs podcast. Since then, both have released content that fans have interpreted as referencing each other, including Bryan’s January 2026 album With Heaven On Top.
As of now, Bryan has not responded publicly to her latest claims about the NDA or her comments regarding his marriage. The situation continues to generate attention across social media and entertainment outlets, with supporters and critics on both sides debating the ongoing fallout.
For LaPaglia, the message during her Impaulsive appearance was clear. She says walking away from the reported $12 million NDA was about preserving her independence and her ability to speak freely, even if it meant continuing to relive a very public breakup.
