She wants to “get cracked” but says Zach Bryan wrecked the brakes.

Brianna LaPaglia, better known in internet circles as Brianna Chickenfry, just lit up her Plan Bri podcast with some heavy post-breakup truth. After a headline-snatching split from country star Zach Bryan last year, she is finally trying to move on. And by move on, we mean she is hoping to reclaim her sex life in 2026. However, according to Brianna, what Zach left behind is not just heartbreak. It is full-blown sexual trauma.

The Barstool Sports personality dated Zach Bryan from summer 2023 through fall 2024. Their whirlwind romance blew up social media, and their breakup was just as public and even more chaotic. Since then, Zach has been busy paragliding around Europe and secretly tying the knot with his now-wife, Samantha Leonard. That wedding went down in Spain over New Year’s. The only reason fans even found out was because Zach accidentally flashed a wedding band on camera and then covered it up with an eagle emoji, as if that would erase the internet.

Meanwhile, Brianna has been in podcast mode, slowly unpacking what really happened behind closed doors. And this latest episode hit harder than most.

“I would like to have sex this year,” she said bluntly on Plan Bri. “I would like to not be traumatized by it anymore. I have a lot of sexual trauma from my last relationship.”

That is not shade. That is thunder.

According to Brianna, the year she spent with Zach Bryan rewired how she sees intimacy. She said the experience left her too scared to even think about letting someone close. Not emotionally. Physically.

“I am so terrified of having sex,” she admitted. “I am so terrified of giving someone the rights to my body because I feel like then they will have control over me.”

That is a gut punch. Whether or not you are a fan of hers or his, you cannot ignore that line.

She did not name Zach outright, but the timeline and the context paint the picture for her. She said there are still pieces she has not shared. Stories she is keeping locked up. And honestly, that part might hurt worse than anything we have already heard.

“There are so many things that I haven’t opened up or talked about yet because I’m not ready,” she said. “But I feel like I’m shedding that skin.”

Still, do not expect her to run wild in the streets just because she is talking about it now.

“This doesn’t mean I’m gonna go bust it wide open on Broadway,” she joked. “But when I’m attracted to someone and they’re attracted to me, I want to feel normal again.”

The real kicker is that Brianna says she had the chance. More than once. She said she has had a handful of opportunities with guys she actually liked, but every time her mind slammed on the brakes.

“I looked at sex as this horrible thing,” she said. “Something that would have control over me.”

Now, she is trying to take that power back.

There are always two sides to a breakup, but this one has a dark shadow hanging over it. And while Zach is out living his cowboy fairytale in Europe, Brianna is still here trying to unlearn the damage and remind herself that trust is not a weakness.

Maybe this year she finds what she is looking for. Maybe she gets “cracked.” But one thing is clear.

That chapter might be closed, but the pages are still burning.
