Zach Bryan is an Oklahoma-born American singer-songwriter. His debut album under a major label, American Heartbreak, was released in 2022. With almost 70,000 album-equivalent units, it debuted at no. 5 on the US Billboard 200, marking Bryan’s debut on the chart and the biggest opening week for a country album in 2022.

Zach Bryan also released a new track titled “Starved” in October of 2022, and then he released another two songs titled “Fifth of May” and “The Greatest Day of my Life.” That said, it is quite apparent that Zach is still working on the foundation of his music career.

Bryan began uploading his songs to YouTube in 2017, with his buddies filming him live on his iPhone. Since Zach wasn’t even attempting to make a career in the music industry in the first place.

2. He is Part of the Military

He is a son of a Navy soldier, Dewayne Bryan, and Annette DeAnn Mullen Bryan. Bryan served in the United States Army, he enlisted when he was still seventeen years old. During his service, in his leisure time, he composed music for his own amusement.

3. He was Born Overseas

Bryan was actually born in Japan when his family was on a Navy deployment, but he spent much of his childhood in Oologah, Oklahoma, where his family relocated when he was in eighth grade.

4. Warner Bros Signed a Contract with Him

Following his debut on the Grand Ole Opry in 2021, he then got a record contract with Warner Records. It was believed that his resemblance to Sam Shepard drew Warner Records’ attention because of his ability to connect with people.

5. He is Worth Millions of Dollars

As of 2022, Zach Bryan’s net worth is estimated to be over $8 million. The value is based on the singer’s sponsorship information and some relevant sources. Zach Bryan’s net wealth is primarily earned from his fantastic compositions and YouTube earnings.

And on its release date, it debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200, marking Bryan’s debut on the chart and the biggest opening week for a country album in 2022. 8. His Debut Album Was a Tribute to His Late Mother

On August 24, 2019, his debut album, DeAnn, was published as a memorial to his late mother. It was written in two months and recorded with his friends in a Florida Airbnb. Annette DeAnn, Bryan’s mother died in 2016. The cause of her death was never revealed to the public.

9. He Was Caught in an Accident 

Just like most of us, Zach also experiences some ups and downs of his own. He was riding his motorcycle with his girlfriend, Deb Peifer, when he lost focus and crashed. His left brow had been seriously scratched, his right arm had been extensively walloped, and his skin was littered with scrapes and bruises. The said incident really taught Zach many lessons, as he stated in a statement. 

10. He Was Quite the Popular One, Even in High School

Bryan, a wrestler and student council president, was well-liked at school. That simply goes to demonstrate how popular he was before breaking out into the music world.

11. He is Thankful for the Bad Songs He Once Wrote

According to him, he is grateful for every bad song he made since it got to the point where he could compose a good one. He feels that the greatest songs are composed when one has done the best living.
