Award-winning American singer and songwriter Bette Midler also recorded ‘In This Life’ for her 1995 pop album Bette of Roses. In 1996, Bette performed this song with comedian Jay Leno.
In 2000, Ronan Keating also covered it for his debut album of the same name. He also released a 3″ CD single of the song exclusively sold in Tesco stores as part of his Pepsi promotion in the same year. He also performed the song at the funeral of his Boyzone bandmate Stephen Gately who was his co-lead singer. The song charted after that performance entering the Irish Singles Chart at number 45. And in 2005, popular Irish band Westlife also made their own rendition for their album Face to Face.
