The warm sun on your skin, the relaxing sound of the beach waves, the fresh smell of the salt in your hair – there’s probably nothing more comforting than spending a day at your favorite beach. And surely, things would even be more perfect with some good country songs about the beach that will give off good vibes and have you swaying in the sand from day to night.

So, we’ve round-up the best tracks and created the ultimate playlist. Check them out below.

1. “Some Beach” by Blake Shelton

It doesn’t matter which beach – Shelton just wants to be on one! In the song “Some Beach,” the country star faces day-to-day frustrations that we all have dealt with at some point in our lives, like road rage and sitting in a waiting room that feels like forever. Shelton tried to make a break for it by dreaming about being on “some beach, somewhere.”

The song was written by Joey + Rory’s Rory Feek and Nashville’s award-winning songwriter Paul Overstreet. It hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart shortly after its debut, and we’ve been singing it ever since.

2. “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems” by Kenny Chesney

Once you jam out to this laidback country ballad, you’ll also be thinking of escaping to the beach – where there’s “no boss, no clock, no stress, no dress code.”

It comes with a music video which was filmed on a beach, of course. The singer explained in the prologue his love of island life, saying that “the notion of no shoes, no shirt, no problems isn’t a song title, but a way of life.” “My way of life,” he said.

3. “Beachin'” by Jake Owen

The easygoing groove finds Owen singing about his carefree and relaxing time by the sea as he describes the best summer day – hanging around under the sun with a drink in one hand and some interest from a pretty girl. The song became Owen’s third No. 1 on the Country chart.

4. “Two Piña Coladas” by Garth Brooks

The beach party continues with Garth Brooks’ 1998 hit– the perfect song as you enjoy the sand between your toes and your cold drink, which in this case are two piña coladas.

The song tells the tale of a man feeling blue until he heard someone saying that “heartaches are healed by the sea.” In an instant, the man went down to the beach. After two piña coladas, he started feeling elated and never wanting to leave.

5. “Somewhere on a Beach” by Dierks Bentley

Bentley handles a breakup the best way possible, and he’s done it by taking us to our favorite summer getaway – the beach! The song finds Bentley telling his former lover about his life after their breakup. He said that he got himself a new girlfriend, and they’re having the best times of their lives “somewhere on a beach.”

6. “Toes” by Zac Brown Band

Pretty sure you’ve also dreamt of packing your things up and just heading straight to Mexico for the weekend. Well, “Toes” will have you even more dreaming as Zac Brown Band describes his exciting trip to Mexico from Georgia.

He details all the abundant alcoholic drinks that he enjoyed as well as all the “pretty señoritas” he met.

7. “Margaritaville” by Jimmy Buffett

Whisk your troubles away and let Jimmy Buffett’s “Margaritaville” bring you the calm beach vibe we’ve always been longing for.

The song paying tribute to tropical climate’s laid-back lifestyle came to define Buffett’s music and career. In 2016, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for its cultural and historical significance.

8. “The Seashores of Old Mexico” by Merle Haggard

The flavors and the smells of the beach seep through Haggard’s “The Seashores of Old Mexico” which tells the story of a young man wanted in Tucson, Arizona. So, he packed up all his things and moved to Mexico for a better life – where the beach towns led him to the love of his life.

9. “Water” by Brad Paisley

Brad has the complete beach checklist in this classic piece: a pair of shades, swimming trunks, and an ice-cold beer.

So, it’s no surprise when “Water” first charted as an album cut way before its release to radio. Listening to it will just definitely make you want to crank up.

10. “Party On The Beach” by Brian Kelley

As Kelley describes with humor, “Party On The Beach” is “what we do here in Florida.” Indeed, the singer knows what it’s like to get your feet in the sand, have some cold drinks and just let loose around great people.

Kelly also revealed that they wrote the song at Jimmy Buffett’s studio, so it somewhat had a little extra inspiration from the country legend.
