The relationship between Chris Stapleton and Morgane Stapleton has grown wonderfully over the years. They endlessly support and inspire each other in various ways – both in their personal lives and within their careers. What’s even more amazing is that they are not afraid to get passionate about their love, making their relationship one of the sweetest country music romances out there.

So, today, we will break down the talented duo’s relationship through the years that keeps country music fans swooning. Keep on scrolling below to find out.

2003: Music Brought The Talented Duo Together

Morgane Stapleton had a friend working with Chris Stapleton at the time, and she admitted to hanging around Chris’ publishing office more than necessary, hoping for a chance run-in with her singer-songwriter crush.

“I kinda did stalk him. A little bit,” Morgane revealed.

Well, her persistence at the end paid off when Chris asked her to join him in a late-night songwriting session – which they now refer to as their first date and the official start of their love story.

2007: The Couple Exchanged Vows Four Years After First Meeting

On October 27, 2007, Chris Stapleton and Morgane exchanged vows. The country singer later revealed that he secretly had the words “You Are My Sunshine” etched inside his wedding band before the big day.

“That’s our story,” the country singer said. He and Morgane have performed the song together on stage on several occasions.

2009: Chris and Morgane Began Growing Their Family

Two years after getting hitched, Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane welcomed their first child, son Waylon. Shortly after, the couple’s second child, their only daughter Ada, was born.

Then, in 2018, Chris and Morgane were blessed with twin sons, Samuel and Macon. A year later, the couple’s baby boy arrived – however, they have not made the baby’s name known to the public yet.

For the most part, though, the “Tennessee Whiskey” singer and his wife have chosen to keep their kids out of the public eye. “I am a very private person, and in that respect, I keep my children out of it. They’re children, and they deserve the chance to be children,” Chris explained.

However, the kids occasionally pop up on Morgane’s social media account, giving us a glimpse of their growing up. Meanwhile, Waylon and Ada also made public appearances on a few rare occasions.

That includes walking the red carpet during the 2022 ACM Awards. When Chris was proclaimed the Male Artist of the Year Awardee during the event, both kids were seen happily jumping out of their seats to celebrate their dad’s win.

Chris and Morgane Throughout The Years

In addition to building a loving family together, Chris Stapleton and Morgane often work together in the music industry. Throughout the years, they are seen performing side by side, which includes their performance to celebrate July 4 with the US troops at North Carolina’s Fort Bragg in 2016.

Chris describes his wife as “intuitive, wonderfully decisive and creative,” and even calls her his “sounding board for everything.”

In 2018, Chris and Morgane were included in GQ Style’s feature called 15 Living Legends of Country Music.

October 27, 2022: Chris and Morgane Hitting Fifteen Years of Marriage

The country music power couple celebrated their decade-and-a-half-long marriage in 2015. Chris Stapleton marked the celebration by posting a series of black-and-white photos on his social media account, where they were seen being affectionate with each other. Meanwhile, Morgane shared a photo from their wedding day.

Truly, the relationship between Chris Stapleton and Morgane Stapleton have nothing but love and admiration that has grown over the years.
