Having a stable and strong woman like Chris Stapleton’s wife is what every man needs in his life. Chris and Morgane’s love for each other is always a lovely sight to see. Whether it’s on the red carpet or in a studio, the couple never failed to keep sparks flying between them. Their family life seems to be totally intact too, which some speculate is because of the American country singer doing all the work. But the truth is, it’s his wife that keeps everything steady and working.

Fans are always intrigued by the tidbits of Morgane Stapleton‘s life. That’s why here are the 5 fascinating facts about Chris Stapleton‘s wife.

1. She’s an established songwriter

Morgane might not be famous as her husband, but she also bags the songwriter position in her own right. The beautiful brunette has built a name on her own as she wrote songs for prominent country singers like Kellie Pickler, Carrie Underwood, and LeAnn Rimes, to name a few.

Of course, she helped her own country music artist husband on his songs as well. In fact, Morgane even went beyond songwriting for Chris as she performs in the background, harmonize, and duets with the band. Talk about dedication.

2. She’s His Trusty Backup Singer

Chris Stapleton’s wife Morgane is not only good with melody. She can even pass as a country singer herself. Years of working with music, the talented songwriter can carry a tune or two, which adds to fans’ interest. Working as a backup singer is one of the most fascinating facts about her. By contrast, she knows how to perform on stage and even chose almost all of the songs for Chris’s debut solo album Traveller. Isn’t she amazing?

3. The couple met in 2003

A native Nashvillian, Morgane Hayes Stapleton, is a rare find in the music scene. The two fatefully met in 2003 at a Nashville Publishing company. Morgane usually hangs out at the company waiting for Chris to arrive. The songwriter shared how she and her friend would hear the jingling of Chris’s keys as he walked down the hall. When this happens, they knew he would play whatever new song he had written with them.

The multi-awarded country star humorously regarded his wife as a stalker as she always waits for him to hang out and play some music. More so, on their first date, they even disguised it as a songwriting session on a Friday night, but Morgane revealed how not much writing was done that night. And after four years of dating, the couple tied the knot in 2007.

4. She’s her family’s “Voice of Reason”

Like Jiminy Cricket in Disney’s 1940 animated film Pinocchio, Chris Stapleton’s wife Morgane is his own “voice of reason.” The singer-songwriter says so because he thinks that he’s not always reasonable. As he spoke about his wife, it’s clear that she makes everything balanced and working together.

Even as they work on From a Room: Volume 2 album, the beautiful wife has been known to make some changes. Chris revealed how she doesn’t let him get away with his laziness on the keys. It’s adorable to think that the close-bearded singer listens to his wife when she tells him to sing higher as he tends to keep everything too low. Fans should thank her for bringing out the best vocals of Chris Stapleton.

5. She’s the Mother of Five Children

The Stapleton family keeps growing throughout the years. Morgane is now the mother of five children based on some of their photos on social media. While they don’t often post about their family, it’s common knowledge that the couple has two older children appearing to be at the age of eight and six years old. They tagged along when the country star graced the red carpet at a Toy Story 4 premiere.

Meanwhile, the couple welcomed their twin boys in 2018, while seven months later, the family was blessed once again with a new baby. Their youngest was born in May 2019. In terms of name, the couple is very secretive, so nothing was revealed to the public.

6. She’s a Business Owner

You might think being a wife of a famous country singer and mother of five will take away all of Morgane’s time. But you’ll be surprised at her multi-tasking skills as she opened her own passion project business. She’s often seen wearing turquoise jewelry, and so her love for timeless pieces brought her to launch her own store called Tennessee Turquoise Co. in Leiper’s Fork. You’ll find a curated selection of elegant jewelry that’s actually the songwriter’s personal collection. It has been her dream for years to build a shop and find the perfect location for it.

Truly Chris Stapleton’s wife Morgane is a remarkable person we can all look up to.
