As we approach closer and closer to the official day that ACM will be aired, things just got more exciting!

On Tuesday, September 8, another piece in the upcoming ACM awards was revealed. Trisha Yearwood is set to deliver a special performance as a tribute to those who have passed away from the country music community.

The country powerhouse singer announced her performance through a news article acknowledging the honor that it brings to perform as a dedication to all those whom we have lost this 2020.

“I’ll Carry You Home”

Trisha Yearwood’s “I’ll Carry You Home” belongs to “Every Girl” which is her first solo album after a decade of silence.

“I’ll Carry You Home” was the fruit of Yearwood and her husband’s reflections about “being each other’s person.” Yearwood knows how strong of a person her husband is and his capabilities to do anything all by himself, but it was her joy to help him in some little ways.

In addition, Trisha Yearwood also reflected on how she starts her day, waking up and turning immediately to God. Yearwood acknowledges that if she would not have believed in God, she won’t be able to go through a single day.

Other Performers

Trisha Yearwood will be joining a star-studded list of performers for this year. Originally scheduled to happen in Vegas, the new arrangement of this year’s ACM Awards will take place at various historic Music City Venues including the Grand Ole Opry House, the historic Ryman Auditorium, and the Bluebird Cafe.

Country fans will be expecting performances from country stars Eric Church, Mickey Guyton, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Morgan Wallen, Tim McGraw, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Lauren Alaina, Lily Aldrige, Clint and Lisa Hartman Black, Bobby Bones, Darius Rucker, Runway June and many more.

Here are other things that you need to know about this year’s 2020 ACM awards.

Country star Keith Urban will be hosting the show which will be shoot from the Opry House and will be aired on September 16, at 8 P.M. ET. More than just the dazzling performances, we all could expect some high drama and a tight race between several awards that could go the other way. This includes the Entertainer of the Year award which features 2 solo female artists to become finalists after a very long time.
