Rising Star Reyna Roberts Continues to Ride the Waves of Admiration

Reyna Roberts might just be a newcomer in the country music scene, but she is making sure that her voice is heard.

On Sunday, Roberts performed the national anthem before a Baltimore Orioles baseball game. Roberts’ rendition became an instant hit on social networking sites. Her fans were quick in appreciating her powerful and wonderful vocals that will surely give you chills.

Shout Outs from Country Stars

Reyna Roberts have built a stronger fan base lately. She also released a country single banger titled “Stompin’ Grounds” which made the biggest stars in the industry notice the birth of another star.

Everything started to kick-off for Roberts after country stars Carrie Underwood, Cassadee Pope and Mickey Guyton gave her shout outs. Roberts posted her own version of Underwood’s “Drinking Alone” single that immediately caught the eyes of Mickey Guyton. Even Carrie Underwood noticed Roberts’ fantastic cover which she acknowledges as one of the artists that helped her shaped her voice.

While talking about the hours she put into practicing Underwood’s songs, Roberts added that to have such kind of support from fellow female country artists was extremely humbling.

Stompin’ Ground

Reyna Roberts might not have won any major awards yet, but she is headed in the right direction with Noah Henson’s “Stompin’ Ground.”  The melody and the theme reminds Roberts of her Alabama roots. Her parents who served the army, their friends, and all of the people who are proud of their hometowns are the people that Roberts want to represent in her most recent single.

Radio Airplay

Roberts’ “Stompin Ground” would definitely be a surefire candidate to make it to the Top 20 Country Songs of today.  Sadly, just like any other female country singer, Roberts’ also has to battle for air time rights from Radio producers. She had to press radio producers to give hers and other female country singers’ songs a chance to be heard by  everyone.

Airtime drama aside, Reyna Roberts has continued to amazed us with her powerful vocals as she sings different song covers and posting them on her social media accounts. We could agree with Mickey Guyton when she said that Roberts can also be full embodiment of what Country music is all about.
