Country star Reba McEntire expressed gratitude to Atoka, Oklahoma fire and police departments after she had been rescued from a historic building when its staircase partially collapsed.

In a video uploaded on social media, McEntire can be seen coming out of a window from the second floor of the hundred-year-old historic site. Using a fire ladder, she got some help from a member of the fire department.

The country superstar is just one of the seven people rescued, with some being trapped at the higher up in the structure after the building’s third story also collapsed. One person was taken to the local hospital with minor injuries, and luckily the rest only suffered small bumps and minor bruises, including McEntire.

Atoka is a city located in the southeast part of the state and is nearly 75 kilometers from McEntire’s hometown of McAlester. The singer was touring the historic site with Coby Scherrill for a potential future project.

In other news, Reba McEntire is ready to release the Revived Remixed Revisited – a three-part box set where she put a fresh spin on some of her most cherished hits. Featuring thirty classic tracks, each part will take a different approach. Revived, for instance, will put some of her biggest hits in live-concert arrangement, while Remixed will transform McEntire’s hits into dance-club anthems. Meanwhile, Revisited stripped back and recut some of her biggest hits, including her iconic “Fancy” and “Consider Me Gone.”

The red-headed Country Music Hall of Famer will also be sharing the long-awaited duet with Dolly Parton on “Does He Love You.”

“I think it’s very important to keep the songs of mine that my fans grew up on alive,” the country star said. The three-part box set will be available for purchase on October 8.
