The performance that went viral on social media was taken back a few years ago. It was one of the best performances in dance sports. It was truly appreciated and embraced by the people especially the country music supporters. Perhaps, it’s because of the background country music and as well as the perfect execution of the steps and moves.
The video shows a pair dancing to the tune of “Honky Tonk Women” by Travis Tritt. They are Jason Colacino and Katie Boyle. It can be seen in the video how good they are and how synchronised they move together. But most of all, what’s truly mesmerising is that their body language and steps intertwined perfectly to the tune of country music. It is very rare to dancesport, but this only proves that anything can be more entertaining with the patch of a country sound.
Jason Calacino and Katie Boyle were long-time swing dancing partners who took the world by storm.
The dancers are the longtime partner Jason Colacino and Katie Boyle. They are one of the best and most respected dancers all over the globe.
Jason Colacino died due to pneumonia and cardiac arrest at the age of 31 on August 9, 2009. He was born on August 20, 1977, in San Leandro, CA and stayed in New York City as his home for the past seven years. Jason was a talented and respected dancer who started his dance career in country line dancing when he was a teenager. Then, he went on to master Swing, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Jazz, Ballet and Ballroom dancing. His success brought a massive demand for his skills, which allowed him to teach, choreograph, compete, perform and judge all over the world. Jason has been dancing along with his longtime partner Katie Boyle.
On the other hand, Katie Boyle is also a talented and one of the best choreographers of ballroom dancing. She started dancing at the age of two. She is the longtime partner of Jason Colacino.
Let’s enjoy another video of Jason and Katie. In this video is another taste of country sound with their jeans. Again, their moves harmonized with their smooth steps.

“Honky Tonk Women” is a 1969 hit song by the Rolling Stones. It was released as a single only on 4 July 1969, in the United Kingdom, and a week later in the United States, although a country version was included on the album “Let It Bleed.” It topped the charts in both nations.
The song was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards while on holiday in Brazil from late December 1968 to early January 1969, inspired by Brazilian “Caipiras” (inhabitants of rural, remote areas of parts of Brazil) at the ranch where Jagger and Richards were staying in Matão, São Paulo.
Furthermore, two versions of the song were recorded by “The Band.” The familiar hit appeared on the 45 single and their collection of late 1960s singles. Then, a honky-tonk version entitled “Country Honk” with slightly different lyrics appeared on “Let It Bleed” in 1969. Also, Randy Travis recorded his version entitled “Honky Tonk Woman.”
