Polish those boots and grab your cowboy hats as the largest country music festival of its kind on Canadian soil, Boots and Hearts Music Festival, goes for another round of fun country music celebration from August 8-11, 2024, at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Barrie, Ontario. 

Leading the dynamite pack of primetime acts serving sizzling live sets are Grammy-nominated, Multi-Platinum entertainer and country kingpin Jason Aldean, arena-packing superstar Thomas Rhett, and award-winning country singer Cody Johnson. And they will be accompanied by Carly Pearce, Matchbox Twenty, Brothers Osborne, and more.

But before everything else, there’ll be a kick-off party featuring Midland, Lonestar, and Shantaia on August 8. In addition to that, there’s also an emerging artist showcase with the Top 8 finalists — Spencer Burns, Blue Ridge Band, Alexa Goldie, Erika Rollin, Cam Galloway, Sarah Vanderzon, Maddy McKenzie, Bradley Hale — vying for the championship. 

Its 2023 edition definitely set up the anticipation for this year, as it featured performances by country classics Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, and Nickelback.

Festival Essentials & Insider Tips

Boots and Hearts Music Festival started in 2012, and in just a decade, it collected a string of awards and nominations. That’s why fans have always marked its dates on the calendar. 

To book an entire weekend with them and join the 40,000 people who attend every year, you can choose either General Admission (CA$435.40) or VIP (CA$841.34). Single-day passes are also available in the same two tiers: GA (CA$113.31 – CA$188.03) and VIP (CA$309.15). Kids 12 and under can receive a free General Admission pass only. They must be accompanied by someone who has purchased an event pass. This free kids pass will be provided with proof of age, like a copy of their birth certificate or passport. All guests, including children 12 and under, will require a VIP Ticket to access the VIP Experience area.

And your Boots Life experience wouldn’t be complete without camping. There are multiple types you can purchase: RV 50 amp Reserved (CA$1,209.23), RV 30 amp Reserved (CA$1,017.58), RV 30 amp Non-Reserved (CA$818.82), RV Non-Hydro (CA$490.99), and Tent Camping (CA$237.16 – CA$369.87). Accessible sites are also available, but make sure you grab a ticket ASAP because they’re running out quickly. 

Your RFID wristbands will be your ticket to the event and should be worn the whole time. No person will be allowed to enter any portion of the grounds (parking, camping, entertainment area, etc.) without a wristband, and they should be registered, too.
