Country music group Chapel Hart did not only win the judges – along with the excited crowd – of America’s Got Talent on one episode of the hit NBC competition series last Tuesday (July 19) but as well as country icon Dolly Parton.

The queen of country music took to social media to express her admiration for the act and how delighted she was with their original song “You Can Have Him, Jolene,” inspired by her classic hit.

“What a fun new take on my song, @ChapelHartBand!” she wrote on her Twitter page, adding that it was her husband Carl Dean‘s birthday and she won’t be letting Jolene know.

The country singer admitted that “Jolene” is based on real events from her marriage to her husband of more than five decades, inspired by a red-haired bank teller who once flirted with Carl.

Chapel Hart’s Audition That Left A Lasting Impression

The high-energy group – comprised of sisters Devynn and Danica Hart and their cousin Trea Swindle – earned the exceptionally undisputed Golden Buzzer from judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum following their performance of “You Can Have Him, Jolene.”

Emotions definitely ran high after their infectious stage performance. Cowell expressed how brilliant the performance was, most especially their choreography that got the audience applauding and dancing along.

On the other hand, the trio of talented singers from Harts Chapel, Mississippi, also talked about the challenges they went through for the last couple of years just to break into the Nashville music scene – to which the judge said a door that they have just broken down.

Chapel Hart will now advance directly to the live rounds of the show, and we can’t wait to see more of them. In the meantime, make sure to watch their breathtaking audition in the video below.
