The Country Music Association announced their CMA Awards nominees for 2022 on September 7. Based on the list, it looks like another year of no CMA awards nominations for country superstar and “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton. Of course, his fans quickly point out that the singer isn’t on the list, yet again.

When checked, the Country Music Association’s website shows that since 2019, Blake Shelton has not received any nominations for a CMA award. The ceremony on November 2022 will be the CMA’s 56th event, and it’s clear that Shelton’s fans are tired of not seeing him get the recognition he deserves.

Fans say that the association is, once again, snubbing great singers like Shelton. More importantly, some say the same artists are getting nominated and winning yearly, making the CMA a lame, boring, and irrelevant awards show.

The CMA Awards airs on November 9, 2022. Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning will be hosting the show. Although Blake Shelton won’t be taking home any CMA awards this year, the artist’s fans can relax because he’s doing fine. They also have plenty to look forward to because he has recently released some exciting news.

First off, Shelton is returning to The Voice’s coaching chair for its twenty-second season on September 19, 2022. The country music superstar has also announced that Carly Pearce and Jackson Dean will join him for the new Back to the Honky Tonk Tour in 2023. So, there’s no reason to dwell too much on Blake Shelton’s lack of CMA nominations this year.
