A popular 100 country songs in 10 minutes challenge has been going on online for quite a while, and big-shot country music artists are roaring to go and take their shot in it.

Some of the song snippets used in the challenge are “Achy Break Heart” by Billy Ray Cyrus, “Body Like A Back Road” by Sam Hunt, “That Don’t Impress Me Much” by Shania Twain, “Drinking Alone” by Carrie Underwood, which our featured country artist today Luke Combs took on to singing. For the challenge, he has to tackle 100 country songs from different decades and his singing result is quite fascinating.

Aiming for the Top

Being challenged to take on the top contender Pentatonix scoring 95 out of 100, Luke Bryan was ever enthusiastic during the challenge. He taps his tabletop to help him with his acapella as he grooves to the beat of his own singing.

In his challenge, we saw which songs Bryan was obviously familiar to, some he sings splendidly, some he mouths the lyrics but some he doesn’t have a clue about. As he hit track #49 ‘Knockin’ Boots’, he made a little monologue saying, ‘If I don’t know that we have problems, I’m going to seek psychiatric help.’

In the end, within 10 minutes, he was only able to look at 59 songs getting 51 of them right. Comparing the group entry from Pentatonix and a solo challenge from Luke Bryan, we can say that he did absolutely amazing.

Don’t Sweat It

Bryan gave a piece of advice to possible singers and artists who will also take the 100 songs in 10 minutes challenge. He said that in order to do well in the challenge, just get into the next song as soon as possible. Avoid getting worked up on a song that’s on the edge of your mind and just sing a new one from the roster.

Before ending the challenge with Luke Bryan, FBE requested him to sing one of the songs from his latest album ‘Born Here Live Here Die Here’, ‘One Margarita’. The album also had the single for his 49th challenge track, ‘Knockin’ Boots’ and a chart-topping hit, ‘What She Wants Tonight’.
