The Dolly Parton Challenge

Dolly Parton rocked the internet again as the new Meme Queen. It all began when our Country legend shared a post via her Instagram account of four photos she’ll pick for her LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder profiles. Each photo was handpicked and customized to suit the design and objectives of each social media platform.

With the endless creative juices coursing through her veins, Dolly Parton aptly tweeted, “Get a woman who can do it all.”  It’s a message about versatility meant to empower not just herself but also her followers. Once the post went live, Twitter was quick to pick a catchy trend, hence the #dollypartonchallenge on our feed lately.

Nobody Wanted to Be Left Off the Wagon

With numerous celebrities, brands, and pets doing the #dollypartonchallenge, Country artists were also on board for the trend.  Reba McEntire who’s every bit a Country Queen posted her version.  Rising female country singer, Miranda Lambert did the same.  Seasoned Country artists like Clint Black, Sara Evans, and  LeAnn Rimes also played along.

Dolly Parton has not given any statement yet about the fun-filled craze she started. Her now dubbed, #dollypartonchallenge exceeded the popularity of other online trends like the #10yearchallenge. As for Parton’s goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, she added in her caption that trend aside, Dolly Parton‘s collage post was also meant as a shoutout for other social media platforms that Parton barely even uses.
