In 2008, a little kid named Hewitt sang the 1993 country hit song “Angels Among Us,” as seen on YouTube.

The raw and memorable moment was captured by Hewitt’s mom who recorded the mini-performance in her digital camera. In the video, it shows Hewitt enthusiastically singing the song, which he calls his “ultimate favorite” song.

Written by Don Goodman and Becky Hobbs, “Angels Among Us” is a song originally released by the well-known county band Alabama in 1993.

Although it was originally intended as a Christmas anthem for fans to enjoy during the holidays, the song’s popularity grew as soon as listeners knew of its inspirational meaning.

Different people from different walks of life got inspired by the song. The youngest among them is Hewitt, who proved that you can never be too young to appreciate country music.

In the video, Hewitt asks his mother to record his whole performance.

As soon as the play button started, with a big smile on his face, Hewitt went on to sing the song with much excitement and energy while holding a small picture book.

Surprisingly, he was able to memorize the whole lyrics, as well as get the tune correct despite his age.

With this much confidence, there is no surprise Hewitt will go places in the future. If you missed it, you can watch Hewitt, the little kid who sang the cute cover of “Angels Among Us” below.
