Ever had something you just can’t walk away from? Thomas Rhett’s “Craving You” talks about the shear stress that love can cause you. One of Thomas Rhett Songs to truly remember.

The song almost didn’t happen as it came out of a co-writing session with Julian Bunetta, famous One Direction writing and production credits, that never happened. Rhett supposedly fell sick and had to drop out of the co-writing session. Luckily, he was sent a demo by Bunetta the next day, and he instantly fell in love with the song.

Thomas Rhett recalls the nostalgic feeling of putting the demo in his truck for the very first time and thinking to himself, “this is really good.” Despite the modern twist, Rhett loved the “80s uptempo vibe,” which, according to him, has stood the test of time.

The song was completed with the help of Maren Morris, who was able to finish recording her vocals in just an hour.

The song almost didn’t come to life as Julian Bunetta had to convince Thomas Rhett, who had taken a step back due to not having any part in the writing process, to record Craving You by Thomas Rhett.

Julian persuaded Rhett to play the song in the car, bus, before bed, again and again until the song hit him. After cutting the song, Rhett finally described its release as “incredible.”

The song reached No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart on July 22, 2017 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA on December 14, 2017. It sold 384,000 copies in the US alone as of Oct 2017.
