Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi, who married just four months ago, are calling it quits! The newlywed couple has announced that they are moving towards officially ending their marriage.

“We are in the process of divorce,” Brown and Yazdi said in a joint statement. Despite that, the two said their respect for each other remains and that they “will always appreciate our time together.”

Brown and Yazdi also ask for privacy as they deal with this personal situation and move forward.

Fans wondered if the couple split when Kelly Yazdi deactivated her Instagram and then reactivated her social media platform but no longer used her married name. She has also wiped out any traces of her husband, Zac Brown, from her page.

As of writing, Yazdi and Brown do not follow each other on social media.

It was the second marriage for the Zac Brown Band lead singer. Beforehand, Brown was married to Shelly Brown, a jewelry designer, and together they have five children  – son Alexander and daughters Justice, Lucy, Georgia, and Joni.

Brown met Shelly when he was still on the rise. His band independently released their debut album in 2005, followed by their first album under Atlantic Records in 2008. Shelly stood by him through it all, marrying Zac in 2006, just after she had finished college.

They went through the good and the tough times together. However, in October 2018, Brown and Shelly announced that they were separating after twelve years of marriage.

In December 2022, it was reported that Brown popped the question to Kelly Yazdi, who is an actress, stuntwoman, and professional model. In August 2023, the pair quietly married in Coweta County, Georgia.
