Two Georgia boys are about to shake the hedges like never before.
Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean announced they are reuniting for a massive co-headline concert at the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium on April 25, 2026. That is 93,000 seats waiting to be filled with country fans, and it marks the first time in more than a decade that the iconic football field will host live music.
The last time Sanford heard guitars instead of whistles was in 2013 when Aldean brought his Night Train Tour through Athens and made history as the first artist to ever headline a show in the stadium. Back then, Luke Bryan was not yet the superstar he is now, he was the opener. Fast forward 13 years, and the two Georgia natives are stepping into the circle together as equals, side by side on their home turf.
This is not just another stadium stop on a long summer tour. For Bryan and Aldean, this is a homecoming. They grew up with Sanford Stadium as holy ground. Luke has said that going to games there as a kid was the highlight of his year, and now he is walking back through the gates not as a fan but as a headliner. Aldean calls his 2013 Sanford show the best of his career and promised this one will be even bigger.
They dropped the bombshell live on SEC Nation right before Georgia took on Alabama in Athens, standing in front of a fired-up crowd of Bulldogs. The timing could not have been sweeter. Fans in red and black jerseys found out in real time that their stadium would be turned into a country cathedral next spring.

And they are not coming alone. The lineup includes Zach Top, one of the genre’s hottest traditionalists, and Georgia girl Lauren Alaina, who has turned every stage she has touched into a showcase of powerhouse vocals and downhome charm. DJ Rock and Dee Jay Silver will keep the party buzzing in between sets. It is a lineup that screams tailgate turned all-nighter.
Tickets went on presale September 29 for fan club members, and many seats are already gone. Public ticket sales will open on October 3 at LukeBryan.com, JasonAldean.com, and GeorgiaDogs.com. Georgia has been waiting 13 years for another stadium show, and when you pair two of the state’s most beloved country exports, the demand is going to be through the roof.
Even UGA’s athletic director weighed in, saying that if concerts were coming back to the stadium, it had to be with artists who had Georgia roots. Bryan and Aldean fit that bill better than anyone. Both have carried their small-town southern stories to the top of the charts, and both are proud to plant their boots back in Athens.

It feels bigger than a concert. It feels like a statement. A night that puts Georgia’s music legacy front and center while reminding fans what it is like when country artists throw down on their own soil. Sanford has seen national championships, last-second touchdowns, and legendary Dawgs moments. But come April, it will see Luke Bryan grinning ear to ear, Jason Aldean slinging riffs, and 93,000 voices hollering along.
The last time this happened, history was made. The next time, history is about to get louder.
