It’s International Women’s Day! And, to commemorate every woman elsewhere in the world, let’s have today’s article centered on them. The Holy Scripture says:
“God created woman because it is not good for a man to be alone” (Gen. 2:18).
That line from the Bible can come in various interpretations. The most dominant though is the fact that God created women in exactly the same manner as men. They equally enjoy the rights that men do. Women have the right to dream, to feel happy, to become successful, to experience life at its best, and so on. Every woman is born to fly. Relative to that, here’s a song from American country music singer and songwriter Sara Evans that is meant to uplift every woman’s spirit.
Some Interesting Information About the Song
A person who wants to expand her horizon and dreams of becoming somebody is this song’s main subject. Released in July 2000, the song topped the country charts in January 2001 making it Evan’s second No. 1 single. Her first was “No Place That Far.” Considered as Evan’s signature song, the tune employs an up-tempo beat and backed primarily with fiddles. Moreover, the narrator likens herself to a bird spreading its wings and flying to its new destination. What’s more interesting about the song is its music video. The clip features elements of the early twentieth movie The Wizard of Oz such as a wicked witch, a tornado, and a little black dog. Also, Evans portrayed the character of Dorothy in the movie. It did not come as a surprise when the video earned the Country Music Association Video of the Year in 2001.
Women As Men’s Counterpart
Again, the Bible tells us how great and clever God is when He created humans. Not only did He want them to enjoy everything on earth. Also, He intends both parties to serve as each other’s counterpart in everything in life. A male and a female are elements of a single soul and represent two forms of energy. Each possesses distinct characteristics and both have their own strengths and weaknesses. However, both men and women must strive to complement each other in their shared struggle to improve life.
