No one throws a country party like Dolly Parton, even when she ain’t in the room.

The Grand Ole Opry is about to light up like never before for the fourth annual Opry Goes Dolly show, and this year, it is bigger than ever. Country music’s brightest stars are lining up to honor the woman who carved her name into country history with nothing but big hair, rhinestones, and a voice that could knock you flat with one note.

Dolly Parton turns 80 on January 19, but the real party kicks off two days earlier at the Grand Ole Opry House. This is not just a tribute show. It is a full-blown celebration of a life that changed the sound of country music forever. Vince Gill, Lainey Wilson, Rhonda Vincent, and Trannie Anderson are already confirmed to take the stage, and if past years are anything to go by, you can bet even more big names are about to be added.

The Opry is pulling out all the stops for this one. On January 17, fans will step into a world completely decked out in Dolly. From photo ops with impersonators to themed drinks and birthday treats made with Dolly’s very own Duncan Hines mixes, every detail is designed to celebrate her the way only Nashville knows how.

And while Dolly herself won’t be making an in-person appearance, she sent out a video message to remind everyone her heart is right there with them.

“I wish I could be there in person, but I’ll be sending you all my love for sure,” she said. “You have the best night ever!”

Of course, she did not leave it at that. In classic Dolly fashion, she made sure the night gives back too. Five dollars from every ticket sold goes straight to the Imagination Library, her beloved nonprofit that delivers books to children around the world. It is a perfect example of how Dolly always turns the spotlight into something brighter than herself.

Parton may not be walking through those Opry doors this time, but her spirit will be in every note that echoes through that legendary hall. Her music, her heart, and her unstoppable legacy have left a mark on everyone stepping up to the mic that night. And for fans lucky enough to be in the crowd, it is more than a concert. It is a love letter to the woman who made country music feel like home.

From “Coat of Many Colors” to “9 to 5,” there is not a corner of this genre that Dolly has not touched. She is a singer, a songwriter, a trailblazer, a businesswoman, and a national treasure. And even as she enters her 80th year, she is still showing the world what it means to live loud, love big, and never forget your roots.

So whether you are showing up in a sparkly jumpsuit or just tuning in with your grandma’s old Dolly vinyl spinning, one thing is for sure.

This party is pure Dolly, and country music is better for it.
