In true Carrie fashion, she admitted she hadn’t fully embraced the idea of stepping into a character back then but said today she’d dive right into it without a second thought.

When she finally hit the Idol stage again to belt out “Alone,” you could tell the crowd was ready, and Carrie delivered like she never left.
