The divorce news broke on Monday night. By Tuesday, movers were at the house.
TMZ reported that movers were spotted at Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO‘s Nashville-area estate, with workers seen hauling items out of the property. Neighbors told TMZ it was the first time they had ever seen movers at the residence.
It’s still unclear whether Jelly Roll is leaving, Bunnie is leaving, or both are moving out. Neither has said anything publicly. But whoever called the movers wasn’t waiting around. The news went public barely 24 hours earlier, and the fact that they were already on-site suggests this was planned well before TMZ’s report, not a reaction to it.
The Clues Were Stacking Up for Weeks Before the News Broke
The movers are just the latest in a string of signs that this split has been in motion far longer than most fans realized.
Jelly Roll performed at CMA Fest on June 6 at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium without his wedding ring. He used to wear a black tungsten band regularly, but he hasn’t been seen with it in months. Some fans attributed it to his dramatic 300-pound weight loss, making the ring no longer fit, but others pointed out the ring had been moved to his left index finger since around February or March. Losing weight doesn’t move a ring to a different finger.
Bunnie’s social media was dropping signals, too. On May 16, she shared a post referencing former relationships. Days later, she uploaded a TikTok about “women’s intuition when that s**t don’t add up.” In another post, she wrote, “Wild hearts can’t be broken.”

Then, hours before TMZ’s Monday night report, she posted a video lip-syncing Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me” and shared an Instagram Story with a photo of herself and the caption, “She’s getting her sparkle back.”
Every single one of those posts reads differently now.
Court documents show the couple separated on May 9. Jelly Roll filed on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. His petition was filed by Nashville attorney Rose Palermo, who previously represented Kristin Cavallari in her divorce from Jay Cutler.
The separation was a month ago. The filing was a month ago. The ring came off months before that. And now movers are walking out the front door with boxes. Whatever is happening behind closed doors, it’s been happening for a while. The rest of us are just finding out.
