On Monday (September 25), The Voice marked its first-ever season without Blake Shelton sitting on his signature spinning chart.

The country singer announced in October 2022 that he would be stepping away from NBC’s hit singing competition show after Season 23 – this is after twelve years and nine wins – to focus on spending time with his wife and fellow The Voice coach, Gwen Stefani, as well as his stepsons. It made Shelton, the last original judge, to exit the show ever since it debuted in 2011.
Still, the show must go on – and when it did, people began feeling his absence, more importantly Stefani.

Gwen Stefani returned to The Voice this season, and she, of course, did it remarkably. The No Doubt lead singer looked gorgeous in her black-and-white checkered ensemble that she matched with a high ponytail hairstyle tied in a hair bow.
However, the real highlight was her signature jewelry – gold necklaces that read “Stefani” and “Shelton” – an apparent homage to her husband, making his absence even more felt.
Stefani has a history of wearing her loved ones’ names. If you recall, she donned a custom wedding veil during her wedding with Shelton in 2021, where her name, Shelton, and her three sons’ names can be read.
Season 24 of The Voice airs on NBC every Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT.
