Rimes first met Dean Sheremet in 2001 as he happened to work as one of her backup dancers for her performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Edward Carl Cibrian, known for his stage name Eddie Cibrian was born on June 16, 1973, in Burbank, California to parents Carlos and Hortensia Cibrian, who were both of Cuban descent. His father Carlos, along with his family, fled Cuba in 1959 after Castro came to power while his mother’s family arrived in the US three years later. Carlos worked as a banker while Hortensia was an office manager. Eddie is their only child.
