Congratulations to Rhonda Vincent for Her Opry Induction!

The Grand Ole Opry family will be welcoming Rhonda Vincent into the family!

The award-winning bluegrass artist was supposed to debut on March 24. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic, the date of her debut was moved to February 6 next year.

Rhonda Vincent will be joining new inductees: Gene Watson (February 2020), Luke Combs (July 2019), Kelsea Ballerini (April 2019), Mark Wilis (January 2019), Dustin Lynch (September 2018), and Chris Janson (March 2018).

Rhonda had a peculiar start in her music career. At age 5, she had her professional music career moving, playing drums for her family band named “The Sally Mountain Show.” She later learned how to play the mandolin and the fiddle at the age of eight and ten. She continued playing with her family band before appearing on TNN’s nationally televised show, “You Can Be A Star.”

In her mid-twenties, Rhonda Vincent went out mastering her craft while singing with Grand Ole Opry’s Jim Ed Brown that led her to a deal to Rebel records. Despite some challenges on her way, Rhonda made a name for herself through the internet. She called her band Rhonda Vincent & The Rage. This helped boost her fan base that made her 2001 album “The Strom Still Rages to get nominated for seven International Bluegrass Music Association awards included the coveted Female Vocalist of the Year award.

Preferably, one of Rhonda Vincent’s greatest hits was her 2003 “One Step Ahead.” This was released following a three-year unbroken string of Female Vocalist of the Year awards that produced another road tour.
Rhonda has also worked with the greatest country artists of all time.

In 2015, she released her second Christmas album which featured special guests like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, The Oak Ridge Boys, and several others.

Throughout her career, Rhonda Vincent has proven herself to be among the best Bluegrass performers we have today. She also has a long list of awards under her belt to prove that she’s one of the best with her 7 Female Vocalist of the Year awards and bluegrass hit songs like “The Storm Rage,” One Step Ahead,” “Ragin’ Live,” “All American Blue Grass Girl,” “Good Thing Going,” and many more.
