Without a doubt, singing runs throughout the entire Reed family. In an undated clip, Jerry Reed was joined by his wife and two daughters for a beautiful performance of the beloved gospel song “This Little Light of Mine” on the set of a television show some years ago.

Reed proudly introduced his family, beginning with his wife Priscilla and their two daughters: Seidina and Lottie, who was just a little girl at the time. After kissing each of his ladies on the cheek, Reed went on playing an upbeat ditty on his guitar, and together, they belted out “This Little Light of Mine.”

“This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine. Every day, I’ll let my little light shine,” the Reed family sang together. Their voices sounded so angelic you’d feel the gates to heaven just opened. Seidina sang most of the verses alone, and she totally delivered a breathtaking performance. She also got some help from little Lottie, who sang the first word of each line.

Meanwhile, Reed was truly one proud dad. He was smiling from ear to ear the entire time they were singing.

Meet Jerry Reed’s Talented Family

Jerry Reed married country singer Priscilla Mitchell in 1959. The couple was then blessed with two daughters, Seidina Ann Hubbard and Charlotte Elaine (Lottie) Zavala, who were ten years apart. Being the children of country singers, it was no surprise that Reed’s daughters followed in their parents’ famous footsteps.

In 2015, Seidina even released Today Is Mine: A Tribute to My Fatherwhere she sang songs written and performed by Reed, who died in 2008.

Anyway, make sure to watch the entire Reed family’s remarkable rendition of “This Little Light of Mine” by playing the video below. While there are many epic songs by Jerry Reed out there, there are no performances that can compare to this.
