The wild side of his country upbringing is very present in Laine Hardy’s “Authentic.”

Blending crunchy guitars and mandolin with some pounding drums, Laine Hardy’s new song is filled with getting-the-party-started potential. It finds the rising Louisiana country singer delivering the right amount of foot-stomping attitude as he pledges to remain true to his Southern roots – whatever may happen in the future.

As if that wasn’t enough, the “Authentic” music video was recently released, giving us a glimpse behind-the-scenes of his life on the road. The clip showcases Laine Hardy performing live and cutting up with his bandmates at different locations like during the Nashville Sounds game, Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, and so much more.

Hardy expressed that “Authentic” is one of his favorite songs to perform live and no better way to portray it than the music video directed by Sean Davé. It shows Hardy’s more personal side as he hangs out with his bandmates and just having the time of his life on the road.

“I hope that people like watching it as much as we liked filming it,” the singer said.

“Authentic” is penned by David Lee Murph, Jessi Alexander, and Matt Jenkins. It is the follow-up to his current singles “Memorize You,” “Tiny Town,” “Ground I Grew Up On,” among others – which will be included on his much-anticipated upcoming debut album.

Currently, the former winner of American Idol started headlining the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, and will keep that going all throughout the fall. But not only that, Hardy will also be making his debut on the Grand Ole Opry before August ends, and we are all excited!

In the meantime, you can watch the music video of “Authentic” by Laine Hardy below.
