In 2007, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood joined forces together to create the trio Lady A – and it was the best decision they ever made. As individuals, they’re each unbelievably talented singers and songwriters in their own right; but together, they’re an ingenious force to be reckoned with. And this is very evident in Lady A songs that climbed the charts and received countless awards.

Truly, the group has become a staple in country music. Let’s check out Lady A’s greatest hits so far.

1. “Need You Now”

From: Need You Now (2010)

The lead-off single and title track to their second studio album, “Need You Now” perfectly captured a scenario of a lonesome man making that drunken phone call in the middle of the night – even though he knew he would regret it the next day. And that’s just too relatable; the song became the trio’s second No. 1 hit on the Hot Country Songs chart.

2. “Love Don’t Live Here”

From: Lady Antebellum (2008)

The fiery breakup song aimed at an old flame introduced Lady A to the country music scene in 2007, and it was the perfect track for country fans to get to know more about the trio. It turned out to be a strong debut, reaching No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

3. “I Run To You”

From: Need You Now (2010)

Lady A earned their first No. 1 hit with “I Run To You,” which was released as the final single off their self-titled debut album. The trio sends an optimistic message in the country ballad about having someone to run to whenever you’re going through tough times.

4. “Just A Kiss”

From: Own the Night (2011)

Is there anything much better than goodnight kisses at the beginning of a new relationship? Well, Lady A definitely knows how that feels when they put “Just A Kiss” into a song that reached No. 1 and was certified double platinum.

5. “Downtown”

From: Golden (2013)

In 2013, Lady A started shifting to more upbeat, fun-loving songs – with “Downtown” taking the lead. The song was written by some of the biggest songwriters in Nashville, and the trio’s high energy took the track to the top of the charts.

6. “Can’t Take My Eyes off You”

From: Lady Antebellum (2008)

The song has established the signature harmonies that would become the group’s trademark, and it’s written by none other than the trio themselves.

7. “Dancin’ Away With My Heart”

From: Own The Night (2011)

This bittersweet ballad looks back on timeless moments that you used to share with someone special. After all, no matter how long it has been, you’d always imagine them to be eighteen and beautiful.

8. “Our Kind of Love”

From: Need You Now (2010)

Written by Lady A with songwriter Busbee, the uptempo love song describes a love that’s always warm and fun – perfectly showcasing the undeniable vocal chemistry between Scott and Kelley.

9. “Lookin’ For a Good Time”

From: Lady Antebellum (2008)

Though this may not be a top ten hit, it proved to be one of the songs you won’t easily forget. Scott even described it as “a fun song that people want to crank up in their car when it comes on the radio.”

10. “American Honey”

From: Lady Antebellum (2008)

Scott paid tribute to her growing up years with “American Honey,” which is a nostalgic remembrance of things in the past. The song finds Scott attempting to escape her adult lifestyle and returning to her childhood.

11. “We Owned The Night”

From: Own The Night (2011)

According to Scott, the song is about “a special once-in-a-lifetime moment” and the experiences they want to build every night in concerts for their fans.

12. “Bartender”

From: 747 (2014)

At some point in our lives, we get our hearts broken – and the only way to wash away a former lover’s memory is by enjoying a whiskey in the middle of a wild night out. This lead single from the trio’s sixth studio album shares your sentiments.

13. “What If I Never Get Over You”

From: Ocean (2019)

The relatable lovesick breakup ballad finds Scott and Kelley mourning for the death of their relationship – at the same time, questioning if they made the right decision.

14. “Goodbye Town”

From: Golden (2013)

Written by Lady A with Nashville songwriter Josh Kear, “Goodbye Town” tells the tale of a man who expressed his desire to leave his town as every sight of it reminds him of his lover.

15. “Long Stretch of Love”
