Kid Rock Says He Wants to Be the First to Perform in the White House’s New Ballroom

Only Kid Rock could turn a presidential construction project into a full-blown country-rock moment.

When it comes to doing things big, bold, and unapologetically American, Kid Rock has always been at the front of the line, and now he is eyeing a brand-new stage that just so happens to be in the most powerful house in the country. We are talking about the White House’s new ballroom, and Kid Rock says he is ready to be the first to light it up.

During a recent appearance on Jesse Watters Primetime, Kid Rock was asked about the rumors that he might be the first artist to ever perform in the ballroom once it is finished. His response was classic Rock as he said, “Man, I hope so. Ball till ya fall, that’s what I say.”

Of course, it would not be a Kid Rock moment without some heat, and he did not waste any time firing back at critics who are losing their minds over the project. “I have heard all the talking points from the left-wing media, saying, ‘This is the people’s house,'” he said. “That is correct. That is the people’s house, and guess what, we the people elected this man overwhelmingly to be in that house, and he is going to build a big beautiful addition.”

And he is not wrong. The project, expected to wrap up before January 2029, is being funded entirely by private donations. No taxpayer dollars are involved. Big names like Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, and Google have all thrown their wallets into the ring to cover the massive 300 million dollar tab. In true Kid Rock fashion, he was not shy about defending the process even if it means bending a few rules to make it happen quicker.

“If he is going to sidestep a few regulations, which I do not know to be fact, I would not be mad at him,” Rock said. “I have built some things and I can only imagine the red tape if he tried to do it all by the book.”

For the critics screaming foul, Kid Rock had one more jab and suggested that the outrage would disappear if just one tiny box was checked. “All he has to do is say, ‘We are going to put in a gender-neutral bathroom’ and they will be like, ‘Oh, we love your idea.'”

You can almost hear the mic drop.

Now, love him or hate him, Kid Rock knows how to lean into a moment. He has been a longtime supporter of President Trump and is not afraid to speak his mind. But underneath the headlines and the hot takes, the man clearly loves his country and believes in giving the people a show. Whether he is on a bar stage in Tennessee or standing center stage in the most iconic house in America, Kid Rock brings the same energy every time which is rowdy, real and unfiltered.

So, will Kid Rock be the first artist to break in the new ballroom with a rip-roaring, flag-waving, country-rock spectacle? No one knows for sure. But if there is a list of folks who would bring the fireworks and turn it into one hell of a party, you can bet your last beer money he is sitting at the top of it.

After all, if you are going to break in a brand-new stage in the White House, you might as well do it with some outlaw flair, a few guitars, and a whole lot of red, white, and boom.
