Kelly Clarkson said that her dad died months ago but she never missed him. Plus, she had a complicated relationship with him. Both sides tried to work it out but it seems that their father-daughter relationship is somewhat cancerous.

Relationship with Her Estranged Father

In an interview with Skavlan, Kelly Clarkson said that they did not have any communication with him for years due to the unhealthy relationship. In line with this, Clarkson’s song “Piece by Piece” reminded her of everything when they tried to patch things up. She said:
