The Meaning of the Song
Like most songs of Kacey that was written with pure honesty and can be easily understood by many, “Biscuits” do not differ from them. The song is about living your life the way you wanted it to be and not minding what people are doing. Furthermore, it is about focusing more of your time to yourself instead of talking about others. Kacey’s song has a strong message that can be applicable to our current life because most people mind others’ life instead of just taking the effort to focus on their life.
Making of “Biscuits”
The idea of the song just happened when they were busy writing “Follow Your Arrow.” A video was taken when Brandy said,
“How about mind your own biscuits?”
And McAnally adding the words,
“And life will be gravy.”
Eventually, they turned these words into an amazing song.
