Dan+Shay has placed their names in the conversation as one of the best duos country music has ever seen. They have evolved not just through the music they produce but in their personal lives, thanks to their wives who mainly were their main inspirations over the past few years.

“Christmas Isn’t Christmas”

Over the countless timeless hits Dan+Shay has written over their career, this year-end will be a bit different. More than just their hit collaboration with pop star Justin Bieber in “10,000 Hours,” Dan+Shay will, for the first time, be singing an original Christmas song and yes, it is a tribute to their wives.

“Christmas Isn’t Christmas” follows their first-ever Christmas single “Take Me Home For Christmas” which they have already released this year.

For Dan+Shay, performing in stages like the CMA Country Christmas has been a custom stop every year. However, singing a Christmas original is something new. The duo added that Christmas takes a whole lot of taste when you spend it with your family and that a pandemic should not be a reason why we cannot celebrate Christmas. Having your loved ones around is more than enough reason for them to turn the Christmas vibe on in their households.

The Annual Christmas Special

Due to the pandemic, the 11th Country Christmas Special has already been pre-recorded this past September. Hosted by one of the cutest and most beloved country couple, Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins, this year’s CMA special would be a huge banger!

Don’t miss out on the magical performances line up from Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Florida Georgia Line, Lady A, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, and Darius Rucker with Lindsey Stirling.

Dan+Shay sent us a message in “Christmas Isn’t Christmas” that all we truly need this season is our families. Without them, everything would be meaningless. The country duo had a hell of a run this year, racking awards after awards, but they just continue to roll over the charts with their song.

What are you most excited about for this year’s holiday season? There is more than enough reason to be excited about the holidays. Despite our many losses. let’s celebrate life, love, hope, and faith.
