Country music podcasts is another avenue for artists to interact with fans on a regular basis. Here, they talk about anything and everything about country music – from personal anecdotes to funny experiences to more in-depth talks about their career. But aside from the popular interviews with country music artists, there are also podcasts that take on interesting topics like history and controversial issues in the genre.

We compiled five podcasts that delve into different topics about country music to make a well-rounded listening adventure just for you. Check them out.

Whiskey Riff Raff

Whiskey Riff is considered one of the ‘authorities’ when it comes to country music. But they’re not your usual country music update site because, as Steve and Gazibara and Wes Langeler say, they are ‘the unfiltered voice of real country fans.’ They cut through the bullshit and focus on the riff of what country really is all about.

And speaking of that, they also launched their very own podcast – Whiskey Riff Raff – where Steve and Wes give their unfiltered and unapologetic take on country music as well as life and all the craziness in-between. They currently have 113 episodes available on their site, Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, and other podcast platforms. And they’re inviting everyone to laugh, rant, and drink with them.

So, if you’re in for some entertaining conversations about country music, then you should definitely check this podcast.

Bobbycast

Bobby Bones is taking over the world of country music podcasts with Bobbycast. Unlike his nationally syndicated country music radio show with a broadcast reach of 180 stations with over a million listeners, Bobbycast feels a little homier. Well, that’s because he does the show straight from his house.

In this podcast, he does in-depth interviews not only with Nashville artists but also with songwriters and producers. Here they bring in the revelations of behind-the-scenes of the biggest songs in country music, candid anecdotes, and of course, some personal stories.

To date, the show already has 319 episodes available on all streaming platforms. Don’t worry, it’s not difficult to binge!

Get Real with Caroline Hobby

Sitting down and getting real with Caroline Hobby, you will get to see a different perspective on country music. Each week, Caroline gives an inside look at the lives of many male country music artists just like Luke Bryan, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Thomas Rhett, Dan and Shay through the lens of none other than… their wives! And she definitely relates well to her guests being married to Michael Hobby, who is the frontman of the chart-topping band A Thousand Horses.

But aside from the wives of these gentlemen, Caroline also welcomes into her free country music podcast all sorts of amazing women like entrepreneurs, influencers, and so many more. It now has 259 episodes available on all streaming platforms.

Before doing podcasts, Caroline was a member of the trio known as Stealing Angels. She also competed on CBS’ The Amazing Race, where she made a finalist twice. Now she is an Entertainment Host and Correspondent.

Coffee, Country & Cody

The perfect morning routine always involves a good cup of coffee partnered with an equally good podcast. And nothing will get you started better than Coffee, Country & Cody. This podcast is hosted by the Country Music Disc Jockey Hall of Famer and known TV personality Bill Cody. Alongside him are his producer Charlie Mattos and journalist Kelly Sutton.

Together, the three interview celebrities through an engaging conversation of funny stories, the revelation of insider information, and some interesting sidelights as well. It’s very entertaining and lively, which is – again – just perfect to jumpstart your day.

You can catch all 950 episodes on all available streaming platforms. There’s a lot, but you won’t really notice how far through you are because it’s so entertaining.

The Cassie Wells Podcast

And last but definitely not the least is Cassie Wells. You probably haven’t heard her yet, but her content is something you should take a listen to, especially if you’re into discovering new talent.

Cassie Wells provides a platform for country music artists who have not yet made it to the country music chart to talk about their music, their story, and everything in-between. It’s also a great way for a fan to know more about the artist and connect with them. Cassie is open to feature any artist on her podcast, so if you’re one of them, maybe this is your sign.

The show currently has 62 episodes and is available on all streaming platforms. Make sure to check her out and the other country music podcast on the list!
