In 1991, country music was forever changed when stellar duo Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn made their debut. Both former solo artists joined together to form what would become one of country music’s most successful duos.

Its popularity brings an interest in line dancing back to life. The song started a craze that spread like wildfire and lasted for years. It’s absolutely one of the greatest country songs for line dancing of all time.

In 2019, Brooks & Dunn released an updated rendition of “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” They signed the hit country trio Midland up for the new version, and they naturally bring their A-game.

The new version of “Boot Scoogie Boogie” is definitely something you all want to groove to. The updated version takes on a jazzy feel, with the sounds of the piano that greatly define the instrumentals.

Midland’s naturally more traditional-leaning sound also made the track even more perfect. Everything just feels smooth and natural, which is what makes this new version of “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” so enjoyable.

9. “Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line

This breezy song that exudes the carefree vibe of a summer fling, with references to a gorgeous crush and aimless drives full of mischief turned Florida Georgia Line, become country superstars in less than a year.

Its most memorable lines, “Baby you a song, you make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise,” partly launched the song to insane success. It peaked No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.

“Cruise” was also a massive crossover hit. The song got a little boost from rapper Nelly for a remix in 2013 and the remix peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s pretty impossible to enjoy a country dance party without this honky-tonk masterpiece.
