Riley Green Finally Addresses His Relationship Status and Ends the Speculation

Riley Green performs on stage in a recent show. While this moment isn’t from his interview, it comes as fans continue to speculate about his relationship status—which he recently set straight.

Turns out, Riley Green is dating… absolutely no one. But if you’ve been on social media lately, you might think the guy’s juggling a harem.

During an interview with Country Nights With Bev Rainey, Riley didn’t just sidestep the rumors. He stomped right on them with a grin. “I find out who I’m dating weekly on social media,” he joked. “That’s a pretty big one there.”

No kidding. Fans have paired him with damn near everyone under the neon lights, from Ella Langley to Megan Moroney and anyone with a six-string and a smoky lyric. It’s become a running gag online. One glance at TikTok, and you’d think the man is starring in his own reboot of The Bachelor Honky Tonk Edition.

But here’s the deal. Riley Green is not dating anyone. “I’m not,” he confirmed. “I’m rumored to have dated a lot of people. I kind of understand that. People always long for that Tim and Faith, Johnny and June, George and Tammy thing.”

And honestly, he’s right. Fans eat that fairytale stuff up. Especially when you’re putting out steamy love songs like “You Look Like You Love Me” with Ella Langley. Or dropping summer sex anthems like “Worst Way,” which is basically an audible smirk in song form.

So yeah, people wanna believe the lyrics are more than just lyrics.

Langley already swatted the rumors down last fall, telling Taste of Country they weren’t a thing. But the internet doesn’t let go that easily, especially when both artists are blowing up, touring together, and looking like a damn country power couple onstage.

Then there’s Megan Moroney, who added fuel to the fire with a cheeky TikTok comment that made fans lose their minds over a T-shirt. One shirt. That’s all it takes these days to launch a thousand shipper accounts.

Still, Riley doesn’t seem bothered. If anything, he kind of leans into it. The speculation helps keep his name in the conversation, and let’s face it, being country music’s most eligible bachelor isn’t exactly hurting the career.

In 2022, he did show up on a red carpet with a woman named Sophia Sansone, and the internet all but exploded. But that’s as close as fans have gotten to a confirmed relationship since he first hit the scene in 2018.

And now, he’s back to keeping things close to the vest.

You could say his current love story is with the music, or at least that’s what the PR teams like to spin. But look at the man’s catalog and stage presence, and you’ll see a guy who knows exactly what fans want. Just enough mystery to keep them guessing and enough Southern charm to make it all feel genuine.

Riley Green doesn’t need to spell it out. He knows the rumors are part of the game, and he’s playing it better than most.

So, for now, Riley’s off the market in the sense that nobody’s got the title. But if he keeps singing like that, it won’t stop folks from lining up to apply.
