Mo Pitney performed a rendition of George Jones’ “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes” at the Grand Ole Opry and received praise from several country music fans. Fans were very pleased with his rendition that the comment section from the video of his performance on YouTube was filled with heartwarming compliments. Performing a song by someone that’s considered to be a legend in country music might be a huge challenge, but the Illinois-born singer sure was up for it, and it’s not quite surprising how he earned the respect of many fans.

Mo Pitney started practicing his skills in music at a young age. He started playing the drums and guitar at age 6 and 12, respectively, and he also played in a bluegrass band with his brother and a friend. So far in his career, he was able to produce two albums under Curb Records, and five singles. There’s even some Mo Pitney songs that reached the charts. Most notably though, he received praise from the media as early as his first single for his identity as a country musician, so it’s no wonder that he was also praised by fans for his rendition of “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes” by country music legend George Jones.

Comments from Pitney’s performance posted on YouTube were filled with warm praise. Many noted that he is a talented singer blessed with a great country voice, while some pointed out that they could listen to him sing all day. A few even made witty comments, saying that he indeed will “fill their shoes.” Pitney’s rendition was so good that one would have a hard time looking for someone who wasn’t satisfied with his performance. It’s no doubt to the fans that he truly is a talented country musician.
